Should we begin with the 32 GB of storage, 8-core processor, the 3GB of RAM or the 4K video recording? Perhaps the 16MP front camera which has geo-tagging, face-detection, HDR and panorama capabilities built in. Or the 5MP rear camera that can capture FULL HD 1080p video would be a better place to  start listing everything it can do. Really, though, up first should probably be the stunning 5.1” Super AMOLED, 1440 x 2560 touchscreen which is just about the best we’ve ever experienced.

The fact that Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.1m GPS, NFC and the infrared port get left until the second part of this section shows just how great the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active is. Oh, and there’s, wireless charging, a built in photo and video editor, a document editor, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, a compass, a barometer and a heart rate monitor all packed into a device that is less than 6” tall, less than 3” wide and barely ⅓” thick.

Chuck in the IP68 Standard dustproof and waterproof down to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes compliance. And, do not forget, the military grade resistance to salt, dust, humidity, rain, vibration, solar radiation, transport and thermal shock, and the S6 has to weigh a ton, surely? No, actually. This marvel of engineering and technological toughness comes in at just 6oz. That’s less than half the weight of a can of soda. Or pop, if you’re in Iowa.
