- Choose your preferred language and press ‘OK’.

- The next step that will be automatically prompted, is a search for a Wi-Fi network to connect to. Choose one from the list (or press ‘Skip’).
- Choose ‘Connect to Network’.
- Enter the corresponding Wi-Fi password and press ‘OK’.
- Would you like to setup an At&T address book? Select ‘OK’ to move to the next step, or ‘Skip’ to skip it.
- Would you like to set up an email account? Press ‘OK’ to agree, ‘Skip’ to skip this step.
- Choose the type of email to set up.
- Enter your email address and password.
- Press ‘Next’.
- You may alter the settings as desired to change how often the account will sync and notifications you would like to receive.
- Enter a display name for the account.
- Press ‘Next’.
- Press ‘Done’.





1A-2. How do I find out what my phone number is?
- Press the middle key to go to the menu.
- Scroll and press on the settings option.
- Press ‘System’.
- Choose ‘About Phone’.
- Press ‘Status’.
- Read your phone number.



1A-3. Can I change the volume on my phone?
There are two ways.
1 – Press one of the two button of the left of the phone and adjust the volume.

2 – To change the volume in the settings:
- Go to the Menu by pressing the middle key.
- Choose ‘Settings’.
- Choose ‘Device’.
- Next, press ‘Sound and Notification’.
- Adjust the volume to each Media as desired.
- Press OK to confirm.



1A-4. Can I change the screen brightness on my phone?
To adjust the screen brightness:
- Go to the ‘Menu’
- Press ‘Settings’.
- Press ‘Device’.
- Choose ‘Display’.
- Press ‘Brightness Level’.
- Adjust the brightness by scrolling right and left.



1A-5. Help with changing the USB connection options.
- Press the middle key to go to the menu.
- Press ‘Settings’.
- Choose ‘Device’.
- Press ‘Connectivity’.
- Press ‘USB Connection Type’.
- Choose the option you’d like: MTP to transfer Media, Video or music files.



1A-6. How do I do a factory reset?
This action will delete all your media, data, content and settings. It cannot be undone.
- Press the middle key to go to the menu.
- Press ‘Settings’.
- Then press ‘Personal’.
- Press ‘Reset’.
- Next, tap ‘Reset Phone’.
- Press ‘OK’ twice to confirm.




1A-7. Can I reset my device to the default APN settings?
- Go to the Menu by pressing the middle key.
- Tap ‘Settings’.
- Then, press ‘Wireless and Networks’.
- Press ‘More’.
- Choose ‘Cellular Networks’.
- Press ‘Access Point Names’.
- Next, Press ‘Options’.
- Press ‘Reset to Default’.
- Finally, press ‘Continue’.
Resetting your device’s APN settings may fix error when trying to send a text message or access the internet. At times the settings were changed from the original and the phone can therefore not function as normal.





1B-1. My phone times out after a certain amount of time, how do I adjust that?
- Press the middle key to go to the menu.
- Press ‘Settings’.
- Then press ‘Device’.
- Press ‘Display’.
- Press ‘Sleep’.
- Select the amount of time that you desire.
Shortening the screen time-out time will help conserve battery power.



1B-2. Does my phone have the ability to lock the screen after a certain amount of time?
- Press the middle key to go to the menu.
- Press ‘Settings’.
- Then press ‘Personal’.
- Press ‘Security’.
- Choose ‘Lock Type’.
- Choose the one you’d like. We’ll go ahead with PIN:
- Enter the PIN and press ‘OK’.
- Press ‘Continue’.
- Re-confirm the PIN by re-entering it and press ‘OK’.
- Press ‘Done’.




1B-3. How do I disable screen lock?
- Press the middle key to go to the menu.
- Press ‘Settings’.
- Then, press ‘Personal’.
- Press ‘Security’.
- Next, press ‘Lock Type’.
- Enter the PIN or password that has already been set up.
- Press ‘Select’.
- Press ‘OK’.
- Choose ‘None’.




1C-1. I’d like to add a new contact, how would I do that?
- Press the middle key to go to the menu.
- Press ‘Contacts’.
- Choose ‘Options’.
- Press ‘Add New Contact’.
- Enter the name of the new contact.
- Enter the phone number under the phone section.

- Enter the phone number to forward calls to.
- Press ‘Activate’.

- Press the middle key to go to the menu.

- Then, press ‘Device’.
- Press ‘Call Setup’.
- Choose ‘Call Barring’.
- Choose the desired option.
- Press ‘Activate’.
- Enter the password to bar calls and press ‘OK’.
If you’d like to disable call barring, do steps 1-6 and press ‘Deactivate’.

- Press the middle key to go to the menu.
- Choose ‘Messaging’.
- Press ‘Compose’.
- Press ‘Go to contacts’.
- Choose the contact you’d like to text and press ‘Select’.
- Compose the message and press ‘Send’.



1E-2. How do I send a multimedia message (MMS)?
- Press the middle key to go to the menu.
- Press ‘Messaging’.
- Then press ‘Compose’.
- Press ‘Go to contacts’.
- Choose the contact you’d like to text by pressing ‘Select’.
- Press ‘Done’.
- Press ‘Done’.
- Compose the message and press ‘Options’.
- Press ‘Attach’.
- Press ‘Pictures’.
- Choose the desired image.
- Press ‘Send’.







1E-3. Can my phone automatically delete old text messages?
- Go to the Menu by pressing the middle key.
- Press ‘Messaging’.
- Next, press ‘Options’.
- Press ‘Settings’.
- Then press ‘Delete Old Messages’.
- Press ‘Delete When Limit Reached’.
- Switch the option to the ON Mode.
Once you have passed the new limit of text messages that you have set, the phone will automatically delete the oldest of the messages, keeping you under the maximum amount.




1F-1. How do I add an event to my calendar?
- Press the middle key to go to the menu.
- Then press ‘Calendar’.
- Press ‘Options’.
- Press ‘Go To’.
- Choose ‘Date’.
- Chose the desired date for the upcoming event.
- Press ‘Set’ -> ‘Create’ -> ‘Event’.
- Label the event with its name.
- Add a location as well as start and end time
- Press ‘Done’.

- Go to the Menu by pressing the middle key.
- Press ‘Calendar’.
- Select the upcoming event.
- Press ‘Options’.
- Press ‘Settings’
- Then press ‘Options’
- Press ‘Delete’.
- Press ‘OK’.




1G-1. How do I take a picture on my device?
- Press ‘Menu’.
- Open the ‘Camera’ feature
- Then, press ‘Camera’.
- Press ‘Capture’.
- Press ‘Review’ to see the photo in the gallery.
- Finally, press ‘Options’ to see the options available for this picture or ‘OK’ to close.



1H-1. How do I replace the battery in my phone?
- On the back of the phone, twist the screw counter-clockwise.
- Un-click the cover using the notch on the bottom of the back.
- Remove the old battery.
- Insert the new battery by ensuring that the gold contacts of the battery and the phone match up.
- Replace the back door and ensure that the tabs are placed in the corresponding holes on the device’s back.
- Twist the screw clock-wise to lock the cover.
1H-2. How do I replace the SIM card in my phone?
- On the back of the phone, twist the screw counter-clockwise.
- Un-click the cover using the notch on the bottom of the back.
- Remove the battery.
- Slide the SIM card holder downwards to unlock it and then lift it up.
- Place the SIM card on top of the flipped up holder, and ensure that the metal will align with the phone’s when it gets flipped down. The top right corner is the corner with the cut off edge.
- Flip down the SIM card and holder and slide it back in to lock in place.
- Replace the battery by ensuring that the gold contacts of the battery and the phone match up.
- Replace the back door and ensure that the tabs are placed in the corresponding holes on the device’s back.
- Twist the screw clock-wise to lock the cover.
1I-1. Can I see how much available memory I have?
- Press the middle key to go to the menu.
- Press ‘Settings’.
- Then, press ‘Device’.
- Press ‘Storage’.
- See the available space. The memory on the SD card will be seen if scrolled further down.



1I-2. How to clear the cache or cookies on my device?
- Press ‘Menu’.
- Then press ‘Browser’
- Press ‘Options’.
- Press ‘Settings’.
- Once again, press ‘Options’
- Press ‘Privacy and Security’.
- Press ‘Clear Cache’ and then press ‘OK’.
- Then, press ‘Clear History’ and then press ‘OK’.
- Press ‘Clear All Cookie Data’ and then press press ‘OK’.
- Do the same for anything else you’d like to clear.








2A-1. What software version is my phone?
- Go to the Menu by pressing the middle key.
- Then press ‘Settings’.
- Press ‘System’.
- Press ‘About Phone’.
- See the software version.



2B-2. How do I update the software version?
- Press the middle key to go to the menu.
- Next, press ‘Settings’.
- Press ‘System’.
- Press ‘About Phone’.
- Then press ‘Software Updates’.
- Press ‘Check for Update’.
- Give the phone a moment to check for updates.
- If there is an available update, the screen will prompt you with the next steps to take.
- If there is no available update, press ‘OK’.




3A-1. How do I turn on the Roaming Data or services on my device?
- Press ‘Menu’.
- Press ‘Settings’ -> ‘Wireless Settings’ ->’More’.
- Then press ‘Cellular Networks’.
- Press ‘Data Roaming’ or ‘International Data’.
- Next, press ‘International Data’
- Turn it ON or OFF.
When leaving the country, the phone will be considered as Roaming and extra charges may apply. If you travel often, consider buying a phone plan that covers Roaming, or switch it off and rely on Wi-Fi.




4A-1. How do I turn on and connect to Wi-Fi?
- Go to the Menu by pressing the middle key.
- Press ‘Settings’ -> ‘Wireless Settings’ ->’Wi-Fi’.
- If Wi-Fi is off, it will give you the option to turn it on. Press ‘Turn ON’.
- Select the Wi-Fi network to connect to.
- Press ‘Connect to Network’.
- Enter the password corresponding to the network.
- Press ‘OK’.
- Press ‘Save’.




4A-2. Can I use my device as a hotspot?
- Press the middle key to go to the menu.
- Press ‘Settings’ -> ‘Wireless Settings’ -> ‘More’.
- Then press ‘Tethering and Mobile Hotspot’.
- Continue with pressing ‘Mobile Hotspot Setting’.
- Press ‘Configure Mobile Hotspot’.
- Name the hotspot. Scroll to password and create the password you’d like those connecting to use and press ‘Save’.
- Press ‘OK’.
- Press ‘Back’ -> ‘Mobile Hotspot’ -> ‘ON’ -> ‘OK’.
A hotspot allows you to share your data with other devices. They will need to enter your hotspot name and password to have access. Your data will be used by their devices, so ensure you have enough to share without being charged.






4A-3. Can I share my Internet with a computer?
- Using a USB cord, connect your device to a computer.
- Press ‘Menu’.
- Next, press ‘Settings’.
- Press ‘Wireless Network’.
- Then press ‘More’.
- Press ‘Tethering and Portable Hotspot’.
- Press ‘USB Tethering’.
- The device is now connected.
- Allow the computer a moment to install the drivers and then press ‘Home Network’ (if it is a trusted device and computer).
- Allow the computer a moment to connect.
- Press ‘Close’.
- When you tether your device’s internet with the computer, you will be sharing your data with it. Ensure that you have enough data to share without being charged.




4A-4. How do I scan for networks?
- Go to the Menu by pressing the middle key.
- Press ‘Settings’.
- Choose ‘Wireless Settings’.
- Press ‘More’.
- Then choose ‘Cellular Networks’.
- Press ‘Network Operators’.
- Allow the device a moment to search.
- Choose the network you desire to connect to.
Usually it should automatically find the networks to connect to. If it does not, do these 8 steps to scan for a network. If you are roaming, you will need to scan for networks to switch operators.
4B-1. How do I turn on and off Airplane Mode?
- Press the middle key to go to the menu.
- Choose ‘Settings’.
- Press ‘Wireless Settings’.
- Then press ‘More’.
- Press ‘Airplane Mode’.
- Press ‘ON’ or ‘OFF’.



4C-1. How do I turn on and off Bluetooth?
- Press ‘Menu’.
- Press ‘Settings’.
- Then press ‘Wireless Settings’.
- Press ‘Bluetooth’.
- Lastly, press ‘Turn ON’ or ‘Turn OFF’.



4C-2. How do I pair my device with a headset via Bluetooth?
- Press the middle key to go to the menu.
- Press ‘Settings’.
- Then press ‘Wireless Settings’.
- Press ‘Bluetooth’.
- Press ‘Turn ON’ or ‘Turn OFF’.
- The headset must in pairing mode. The name will appear in the list of devices to connect to.
- Select the name of the device to connect to.
- The devices are now paired.





4C-3. How do I remove a paired Bluetooth device?
- Go to the Menu by pressing the middle key.
- Then press ‘Settings’.
- Press ‘Wireless Settings’.
- Next, press ‘Bluetooth’.
- Press ‘Options’ ->’Select Device Settings’ -> ‘Forget’.
- The paired device has been disconnected.

- Press the middle key to go to the menu.
- Then press ‘Settings’.
- Press ‘Personal’.
- Press ‘Accounts’.
- Next, choose ‘Add Account’.
- Press ‘Email’.
- Choose the email type you’d like to connect your device to.
- Enter your email address and password.
- Press ‘Next’.
- Press ‘Menu’ -> ‘Email’.
- The synced emails will now be displayed.

- Choose the email account to remove.

- Choose ‘Add Account’.
- Press ‘Corporate’.
- Fill in the email address and password to your work account.
- Check off ‘Manual Setup’.
- Press ‘Next’.
- The following information is from your corporate IT system:
- Fill in the Domain and Username.
- Fill in the server information in the server box.
- Press ‘Next’ -> ‘OK’.
- Then press ‘Next’ and personalize the checked off boxes if you so desire.
- Press ‘Next’.
- From the main menu, press ‘Menu’ -> ‘Email’. You will see the email account you just added.
